Thanks to all of the residents of Nanaimo who supported me in my efforts to win a seat on the City Council. The race for Council proved to be very interesting and it was quite a learning experience that I hope will improve my chances for the next election.

If it wasn’t for the campaign contributions from CUPE and the Professional Fire Fighters of Nanaimo I am sure I would not have done as well as I did. Also, the assistance of the few individuals who erected and dismantled my signs made the physical task of campaigning much easier than it would have been.

I would also like to congratulate the five incumbents, Mayor John Ruttan and the three newly elected councillors.
